Kiltarlity Free Church Call New Minister

On Wednesday 22nd August, Rev Stephen Allison has accepted a call from Kiltarlity Free Church. Stephen, Tizzy and Emily hope to move to Kiltarlity before the end of September. Stephen completed his B.Th. (Bachelor of Theology) degree at Edinburgh Theological Seminary and graduated in July. Prior to theological study Stephen worked for 5 years as a solicitor in Digby Brown and continued part-time work as a professional support lawyer whilst studying in ETS. He attended Larbert High School and from there to Edinburgh University where he graduated LLB (Hons) and completed his Diploma of Legal Practice. Stephen is married to Tizzy and their first child, Emily was born in March. Tizzy came to Edinburgh University to study neuroscience, completed her PhD and continued working for the university as a researcher.
Stephen will be ordained and inducted to the charge by the Presbytery of Inverness, Lochaber and Ross at 2.00pm on Saturday 29th September at Kiltarlity Free Church. Stephen is a member of the Board of Solas (Centre for Public Christianity) and has worshipped in Buccleugh Free Church, Edinburgh, for a number of years. For the last three years, Stephen and Tizzy have supported the new Esk Valley Church plant in Newton Grange.
